OPERATIVE

Underground Flute Operative (UFO) is comprised of experienced flute players primarily based in Cortland/Homer, NY. When possible, the mainstay quartet also expands into a choir, involving additional players from the CNY area.

UFO came into existence during COVID, when the players were getting a little "stir crazy" and decided that they needed some music therapy at a time in their lives when many of the other groups they were in were not meeting.

Since one of the members works as a nurse, she volunteered to host rehearsals at her home, and made sure everyone gathered as safely as possible.
